Bramble Mere

The lake has approximately 250 carp ranging from single figure to over 30lbs with a large head of 20lb fish. In the lake can also be found other quality fish tench  up to 10lbs with perch at 4lbs and pike at 20lbs.

Bramble Mere is an exclusive-use lake that can be booked by a group of anglers for private hire ensuring peace and tranquillity  and an enjoyable fishing experience.

This lake is for exclusive hire. Bookings slots are are available as 4 weekdays (Monday – Thursday) or a 3 day weekend (Friday – Sunday).

We must have the name and address of all anglers using the lake, please fill in the relevent fields when booking.

 The Gate to Whelford Pools will be open from 7.00am and closed   at 9.30pm every day for security.

There is a charge of £20 levied for opening the gates during closed  times.
